The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the number of people vaccinated in the United States will reach 100 million by the end of the year.

The cost of a flu shot is typically $75 for adults and $90 for children.
How often does the vaccine be administered?
The vaccine is administered once every four to six weeks, depending on the type of flu virus and how severe the symptoms are.

Flu shots are highly effective at preventing the flu and at preventing serious illness, but they do not prevent transmission of the virus to others.
How can I get a flu vaccination?
